Dear friends,

Online satsang is accessible for everyone and it is only being funded by your contributions! We would like to make it possible for everyone to participate in the daily satsangs; however a monthly contribution is essential for Soham’s work.

The amount you pay is up to you, it is a free contribution. It showed that the minimum of what is needed for covering our costs is a monthly amount of 50 €.

One-time contributions or ‚subventions‘ from people who love and appreciate Soham’s work are of course also very welcome.

With much gratitude to all of you who support us; and everyone who keeps making the blessing that comes through Soham’s work accessible to everyone!

Since beginning of 2017, Online Satsang is being broadcasted in HD quality (1280x720 px resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio) with a bandwidth of 2.000 kB/s. Actual quality may occasionally vary due to the speed of Internet connection in the Satsang room.

A Flash browser plug-in is not needed, Online Satsang is being displayed with an html5 player.

Outside of live broadcast, the video player displays the latest recorded Online Satsang instead.

Online Satsang on PC and on Mac

Our video player for desktop browsers features display quality adjustment. The default quality setting is high quality. In case of limited data volume or slow Internet connection, this setting should be adjusted.

If "Autoplay Live" is enabled in the video player settings, display of the broadcast will begin automatically as soon as Online Satsang is being transmitted live.

The player settings can be opened by clicking on the gearwheel symbol inside the video player. It becomes visible as soon as the mouse hovers over the video player.

Online Satsang on Mobile Devices

Online Satsang can be received on all current mobile devices like iPhone, iPad, Windows Phone and all Android devices without limitation.

Most mobile browsers automatically adjust video display quality based on the available bandwidth. This means that significant data volume can be used up if the device uses "mobile data" for its Internet connection.

If devices with newer Android versions are using Chrome as a browser, with "Dash" selected as video player, then the same quality adjustments are available as on desktop browsers.

iPhones, by default, use reduced display quality ("good" instead of "excellent") if the device uses mobile data. On iPhones, display quality is not adjusted in the player but in the iPhone settings under "videos".
